have you ever watched the meg ryan movie " the women?" if not carve out some time on a rainy summer night.
grace and i have watched it twice now and she has mentioned to me both times that meg ryan's character reminds her of me...really? hmmm....i want to dig deeper into that!
meg ryan's character created a vision board on her wall and begin reframing herself with it...creating a whole new her..well it really it wasn't new at all. it was always her. the difference was in her choices. in being afraid but doing it anyway.
choices are powerful & they can change your life!
we have more power than we give ourselves credit for and often that keeps us stuck because we are afraid of it. that if we chose differently it would require us to do something scary, new and different
lets face it..change is terrifying
meg's character was a people pleaser. putting everyone else before herself. sound all to familiar? funny how we "think" that is superior but in so many ways it just.doesn't.work
it is upside down to me
grace suggested i make a "vision board" on my wall and while i LOVE that idea...i don't know about on my wall but on pinterest...i'm all over that
i created a collage of some images off of my .me. pinterest board. images that i feel are the me i am becoming.
i would love to see what your vision board ! let's start with one photo shall we? if you feel inspired would you share it on our houseofbelonging instagram feed using the hashtag #becomingme
looking forward to being blessed by you all
